2008 Grey Stallion
Straight Egyptian, Al Khamsa

Thee Desperado (The Minstril x AK Amiri Asmarr by TheeEgyptianPrince)
Out of AK Shalina (Moniet El Sharaf x AK Mona by *Ibn Moniet El Nefous)
Sire of Silver Silhouete SSK, Shalpashas Silver SSK and Aleah Nefertiti

Silver SK was shown just one year, in 2011 when he was three, and he began his show career by taking Reserve Championship Halter titles at four different shows in Class A competition. Shown at Region 7 and Region 8, he was Top Five in Sport Horse Stallions In-Hand AT at the former and Champion Sport Horse Stallions In-Hand AT at the latter. He closed his first and last show season at the New Mexico State Fair where he was named Champion Halter Stallion and won the Hunter Pleasure Junior Horse class.

Silver SK’s link to the Gleannloch Farm legacy comes to him through both his sire and dam. On his sire’s side Gleannloch is represented by Shaikh Al Badi and Bint Magidaa, the sire and dam of U.S. National Champion Futurity Stallion and Reserve National Champion Halter Stallion, Ruminaja Ali. AK Amiri Asmarr is a daughter of the legendary Gleannloch-bred TheeEgyptianPrince out of the Gleannloch-bred *Zaghloul daughter, Asmarr. On “Silver’s” dam’s side, his maternal grandsire is Moniet El Sharaf, a grandson of the horse that is probably Gleannloch’s most noteworthy stallion, *Morafic. Silver SK’s tail-female line goes directly to Gleannloch’s Zaenap, her sire, *Ibn Hafiza and her dam, *Hoyeda.

Owned by Robert A Purdey, DDS, Silver SK is the sire of Aleah Nefertiti (x Aleah Fareedah by Kenz Noor), a chestnut straight Egyptian yearling filly being presented at this year’s Egyptian Event by Ted Carson. Aleah Nefertiti was bred by Robin Lee and Perry Payson and is owned by Robin Lee (Aleah Arabians).
